2018 One Show Social Brief Finalist
This year’s Young Ones social brief was to create an innovative idea that raises awareness of the opioid overdose risk while reducing the stigma associated with it.
We decided raising awareness wasn’t enough, and it was time to actually do something about the opioid overdose crisis. So we created the Safe Use Syringe.
CVS will also allow addicts to turn in old needles for the Safe Use Syringe, instantly boosting the number of needle exchange programs in the country from 185 to over 9,600.
